Actress Becky Taylor grew up in a small southern Ohio town nestled in the beautiful rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The youngest daughter of devout Christian parents, she began acting and singing on the church stage almost as soon as she learned to walk and talk.
As a teenager, she performed all over southern Ohio as part of a gospel quartet. After graduating high school, Becky went on to college and she earned a degree in Science. She spent many years working behind a microscope in the hospital laboratory, and later operated mass spectrometers at a uranium enrichment facility. She has also served as a crisis counselor and personal life coach. Becky is known as an encourager, motivator, and die-hard optimist who believes anything is possible for those who refuse to quit. This is the message she most enjoys delivering to her audience. The characters Becky has portrayed on stage and screen are as varied as her talents and interests in her own personal life.
This unique combination of talent, life experience, and education make her the ideal candidate for a variety of roles. Most of the characters she is chosen for have a slightly mischievous side, or an ulterior motive that isn’t immediately revealed, but never fear! Even her ulterior motives are always based on the best of intentions. The more serious side of her personality makes her well suited for the role of police officer, judge, counselor, scientist, or medical professional. Becky is the married mother of three, two grown daughters and a seventeen year old son; and the grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren. In addition to acting, she enjoys traveling, writing, decorating, and spending as much time as possible with her family.
